Cookies
Like many other websites, we also use so-called “cookies.” Cookies are small text files that are transferred from a website server to your hard drive. This automatically provides us with certain data, such as: IP address, browser used, operating system and your connection to the Internet.
Cookies cannot be used to launch programs or to transfer viruses to a computer. Based on the information contained in cookies, we can facilitate navigation and enable our websites to be correctly displayed.
In no case will the data collected by us be passed on to third parties or a link to personal data be established without your consent.
Of course, you can also view our website without cookies. Internet browsers are often set to accept cookies automatically. In general, you can deactivate the use of cookies at any time in your browser settings. Please use the help functions of your Internet browser to find out how to change these settings. Please note that some features of our website may not work if you have disabled the use of cookies.
SSL Encryption
To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption techniques (such as SSL) via HTTPS.
Contact form
If you have questions of any kind, contact us by email or by using the contact form and grant us your voluntary consent to contact you. This requires the specification of a valid email address. This serves to assign the request and reply accordingly. Providing further data is optional. The information you provide will be stored to process the request and for possible follow-up questions. After completing the request, personal data will automatically be deleted.
Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (hereinafter: Google). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies,” i.e. text files that are stored on your computer and enable analysis of how you use the website. Information generated by the cookie about how you use the website is typically transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymization on these websites, your IP address will first be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states in the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google uses this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and Internet usage to the website operator. The IP address provided by Google Analytics within the framework of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data provided by Google.
Data is processed in order to evaluate the use of the website and to compile reports of activities on the website. Based on the use of the website and the Internet, other related services will be provided. Processing is based on the legitimate interest of the website operator.
You can prevent cookies from being stored with the corresponding setting in your browser software; however, by doing so, you may not be able to fully use all the functions of this website. You may also prevent data from the cookie that are related to your use of the website from being collected (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: Browser add-on to disable Google Analytics.
In addition or as an alternative to the browser add-on, you can prevent tracking by Google Analytics on our pages by clicking this link. An opt-out cookie will then be installed on your device. This will prevent Google Analytics from collecting data for this website and for this browser in the future, as long as the cookie remains installed in your browser.
Use of script libraries (Google web fonts)
In order to properly display our content in a visually appealing manner across different browsers, our website uses script libraries and font libraries. For example, Google web fonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google web fonts are transferred to your brower’s cache to prevent them from being loaded multiple times. If the browser does not support Google web fonts or prohibits access, content will be displayed in a standard font.
Calling script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the library operator. In doing so, it is theoretically possible – but currently also unclear whether and for what purposes – for operators of such libraries to collect data.
The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/
Use of Google Maps
This website uses Google Maps API to visually display geographic information. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data about visitors’ use of map features. For more information about Google’s data processing, please refer to the Google Privacy Policy. There you can also change your personal privacy settings in the Safety Center.
Detailed instructions on how to manage your own data related to Google products can be found here.
Embedded YouTube videos
On some of our websites, we embed YouTube videos. The operator of the plug-ins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plug-in, it will connect to YouTube’s servers. YouTube will be informed of which pages you visit. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can trace your surfing behavior to you personally. This can be prevented by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.
If a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behavior.
Anyone who has disabled the storage of cookies for the Google Ad program will not encounter any such cookies even when watching YouTube videos. YouTube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you want to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in the browser.
For more information on data protection at “YouTube,” refer to the provider’s privacy policy at: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/
Google AdWords
Our website uses Google conversion tracking. If you access our website via an advertisement delivered by Google, Google Adwords will set a cookie on your computer. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an ad delivered by Google. These cookies are invalid after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages on our website and the cookie has not expired, we and Google may recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked through the websites of Adwords customers. The information gathered with the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers receive information on the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that personally identifies users.
If you do not want to participate in tracking, you can prevent a cookie required for this from being set – such as with a browser setting that generally disables cookies from automatically being set or setting your browser to block cookies from the domain “googleleadservices.com”.
Please note that you should not delete opt-out cookies if you do not want your data to be recorded. If you have deleted all cookies in your browser, you must set the respective opt-out cookie again.
Use of Google Remarketing
This website uses the remarketing feature from Google Inc. The feature is designed to present interest-based ads to website visitors within the Google network. A so-called “cookie” is stored in the browser of the website visitor, which makes it possible to recognize the visitor when he or she visits websites belonging to the advertising network of Google. On these websites, visitors may be presented with ads related to content that the visitor previously viewed on other websites using Google’s remarketing feature.
Google claims that it does not collect any personal information during this process. However, if you do not wish to use Google Remarketing, you can opt out by making the appropriate settings at http://www.google.com/settings/ads. Alternatively, if you do not wish to use Google Remarketing, you can opt out by making the appropriate settings at http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp.
Changes to our Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy so that it always complies with the current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the Privacy Policy, e.g. when introducing new services. New visits to our website will be subject to the new Privacy Policy.
